These are great "water / sport" sandals. They seem to be high quality; vibram-like soles, name brand quality. Something you'd expect to see at a higher-end mountain sports store like REI or EMS.Likes:- Quality overall. Material seems top quality and construction seems pretty flawless.- Great design for water sports like rafting, where you need something minimal, that still protects your toes a little bit. The soles wrap around the front of your toes just enough to provide some protection when scrambling for footing in a river.- Comfortable and light, yet rugged.- Nice soles and out-soles.Dislikes:- Whole size fit can be tricky. For me, 10.5M, I usually order a size down for sandals (10 US M). For these sandals, they just barely fit. I should probably try the next size up, 11 US M, but I feel like they'd be bulky.- The ridge under your toes that protrudes on the footbed doesn't line up with my little toes; the tip of my pinky toes dig into it. The angle seems wrong, or they should make it not such a sharp relief / edge.Overall great quality outdoor sandals, especially for rafting / etc.I like these sandals far more than I have any reason to. They're waterproof, easy to put on and take off, sturdy and I like the color. Here are some observations:They fit me perfectly... but I have feet that are hard to fit, so if you have "normal" feet your mileage may vary. For me, they're perfect. Also, the inside of the sandal has "raised bumps" that you either like or dislike. You can consider it accu-pressure or just a PITA (or foot) but I like it. My foot isn't going to slip around if I'm wading and that's a plus (for me). I also believe in the accu-pressure idea.I'm a little worried about the flimsy tab that you hold onto to stabilize the shoe when your putting it on. Keep in mind that the heel straps just hook onto the "buckles" and so it's easy to remove the sandal-- but I didn't notice this at first and it made for some "interesting" times. It looked like a buckle so it wasn't until I really studied it that I saw that it's just a hook. Disguised as a buckle.I don't wear sandals. Except for these. I think that deserves a five-star review just by itself. I'm not a sandal expert-- but these work for me.The shoes are a little smaller than the normal size, they are very tight on the feet, they wrap well on the feet, and are suitable for water sports without slipping. These are great sandals. I love the quality of the material they used to make these.I prefer wearing these over being barefoot which says a lot.The construction is logical and fits well.Overall, these are impressive and my new favorite sandals.I spend a lot of time on the river and these are the best water shoes I have ever owned. They have a rigid sole that provides plenty of protection against rocks, sticks, and other things that you might find in the water. The non-slip tread also provides excellent traction.I am normally either a size 10.5 or 11 and the size 11 fits great. The sandals feature a heel strap and two bridge straps which make it easy to ensure a snug and comfortable fit. The heel strap has an open buckle that you can slide into two different pockets. This system makes the sandals very easy to put on and take off even when they're wet. This is a well-designed pair of durable and attractive water sandals.
